Swimming Gala 2003

 

This is our claendar of 2003. This allows you to see some of the events we took part in over the year.

Cubs at CentrePiece - 21st Explorers running evening (Kaa & Akela present) Meet at 6:45pm at CentrePiece (collect at 8:30pm or 9:30pm please inform when leaving Cubs which time you will pick up at)  

1st March (Sat)

5-a-side Football (District Tournament)

4th March (Tues) IMPORTANT AND URGENT Newsletter out that needs quick response for a great opportunity.

 You can ring or text Akela with your email address and we will forward this to you beforehand if you wish.

7th March (Fri)

 

Video and information starting at 7pm with Akela and Bagheera.

 Please ring Akela if you are going to attend.

8th March (Sat)

Beaver and Cub Cross Country  (open to all)

16th March (Sun)

Cub Quiz and Fizz (County event for a District team)

29th March (Sat) Cubs at Fitness First - Meeting first at the Scout Hall, need to be uniform and then have sports wear for activities - registration forms MUST be in prior to the event. Do not leave until you have filled in the permission form.

6th April (Sun)

TRAINING  - 5-a-side Indoor Football - All 7th Cubs Welcome - usual 5-a-side venue - 10am at The North Youth Wing. In sports kit please.

8th April (Tues) Final day to notify us if wishing to attend camp and interested in the proposed Isle of Wight (October 2003)
8th April (Tues) Last Tuesday Pack Meeting - Break up for Easter until Tuesday 29th April.

12th April (Sat)

Finals for 5-a-side Indoor Football Tournament.

15th April (Tues) CLOSED for Easter
22nd April (Tues) CLOSED for Easter

27th April (Sun)

Fun day with the 6th Ashford - 6th and 7th Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers are invited. More details will be in a newsletter.

29th April (Tues) Cubs re-opens, but at later time of 7:15pm (just this week), as a Cub Camp Meeting, where Cub and a parent for each Cub going to Cub Camp MUST attend.
29th April (Tues) Initial non-returnable £15 deposit for Cub Camp

10th May (Sat) postponed

Sixers’ Conference (NOW POSTPONED TO 2004) - Sorry - District made the decision

13th May (Tues) Further non-returnable £15 deposit for Cub Camp (totalling £30 non-returnable deposit) due
20th May (Tues) Final payment of £47 for Cub Camp due
22nd May (Thurs) Proposed date for volunteers to assist putting up tents and main camp equipment - we have the vehicle - just need the hands to help - not suitable for children to attend.

25th (Sun) to 29th (Thurs)  May      

7th Pack - main Cub Camp - open to all Cubs. Our biggest event - and the best!!!!

Cubs break up for the summer break

Kent Jamboree - 2003 - Cheriton, Folkestone

Cub Visiting Day - may be 3rd August - TBA and TBC

4th October 'Big Day Out' - This is a County organised event that looks great value and a great day out. Details will follow in a later newsletter.

Sausage Sizzle, with a campfire singing session ((7th Akela will be leading the camp fire) (held at the Willesborough HQ)

Cubs invited to join the 21st Explorers for a firework evening - ring Kaa for details.

Cubs Christmas Party - need to book a place by 21st November 2003.
